The company
Bro- og Tunnelselskapet AS (B&T) was established in 1953 with the object of financing, building and operating transport and communications projects. Today, B&T is a knowledge and technology-based company supplying operating services, hi-tech solutions and consulting services in the sphere of electronic payment services, with our core business focussed on the operation and management of toll systems. While the company’s principal market is Norway (toll projects), we have also expanded into the international market (system delivery and consulting services) in recent years. The Norwegian public sector owns approximately 51% of the company, with Hordaland County Municipality accounting for approximately 27% and Bergen Municipality approximately 24%. Most of the other shareholders are large financial institutions. 

Business concept
Bro- og Tunnelselskapet (B&T) will be a key player in the development, implementation and operation of electronic payment systems, and in providing consulting services in related areas. ”Electronic payment systems” include systems for electronic data recording, data communication and data storage, customer management, archive and administrative management, billing and settlement (payment), and revenue management. We operate the systems on behalf of our principals.
